Welcome to the Health Educator Supervisor Training for CAPP and PREP projects in New York State.
The role of the Health Educator Supervisor is complex—and critical. The ACT for Youth Center for Community Action has created this course to help you understand and navigate the responsibilities of your position, including:
- Coordinating the CAPP or PREP project
- Managing EBP implementation practice
- Engaging the community
- Leading the performance management process
- Hiring and supervising project staff
- Ensuring organizational support for the project
- Working with ACT for Youth
In order to move through the course, you must click the “Mark as Completed” button at the bottom of each page (except for this one). This way your progress can be tracked and you will be able to download a certificate when you complete the training.
This course was written by Jutta Dotterweich, Mary Maley, and Karen Schantz of ACT for Youth, and produced by Ithaca Content Architecture and Design.
